 Welcome to the Gag Show team - John Newton!!!!

Due to the expansion and growth of Scott and Fitz's sporting speaker events and "An Evening With" product, we have recognised that we need some support with The Gag Show!
We are delighted to announce that John Newton, one of our favourite comics and a great friend of ours for a number of years, is joining us as Event co-ordinator and tour MC. John will be responsible for booking the majority of venues and comics for us in 2017.

If Jeff Stevenson seems familiar, then he probably is. In the entertainment business for many years, as an actor he was a star of many a sitcom, including Only Fools and Horses, where he played of all things a stand-up comedian. Jeff plays to sell out clubs across the country on the strength of just one or two open mic spots. His style can range from loud and in your face to honest observations about life and the entertainment business. Just don’t mention docu-soaps or laugh at his beloved QPR!
Joseph Wilson started his multi talented career at the age of 18 with aplomb and has flourished into a comedic force to be reckoned with. A stand up comedian, actor, voice over artist, a television warm up, a writer and radio presenter, Joseph has carved out an impressive CV. 
He is a likeable stand up and impressionist who’s energetic, physical and improvised style has been wowing audiences from New York’s Caroline’s Comedy Club to London’s The Comedy Store.

Pat Gallagher is a Birmingham born comic who lives in the Forest of Dean, (that comedy hot bed) He is arguably the best unsigned 20 minute opener / middle 20, in comedy today. He says that for principally one reason only, he loves a good argument. Pat has gigged all over claiming to have played in more toilets than George Michael. Having also headlined in Plymouth and regional south West gigs, as well as numerous regional South West festivals.
Hailing from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (a town otherwise famous for international terrorists, fake kidnaps and 'Britain's Best Market') charming northerner Craig is a talented and driven newcomer to the circuit, undoubtedly destined for greatness.. 
He has rapidly become a master of the compere's art too; able to turn any crowd from a lacklustre mob into a clapping, cheering, delirious audience ready to laugh all night.

Miming with props to an electric montage of songs, taking lyrics to their ridiculous literal extreme might sound like juvenile antics but don’t be fooled by the simple minded wackiness of this duo; they’ll sneak up on you out with a bit of unexpected wordplay and get you right in the funny bone. Relentlessly daft, carefully constructed and pant-wettingly hilarious.
John began his comedy career in January 2003. He fast became known for his inventive writing, covering a wide spectrum of subjects from the surreal to hard hitting. Geoff Whiting quickly spotted John’s potential & he was performing regular paid 20 minute sets for Mirth control within 6 months of his first gig. John is now a regular at most of the big weekend clubs & works for most of the big players in the industry.

Tony is a rapidfire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he's a tough act to beat! His quick wit has made him a sought after act and compere by comedy clubs and promoters across the UK and even for gigs worldwide. Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony's jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper, even if you've never heard of him there's a good chance that you'll have laughed at one of his gags.
Andre King is undoubtedly one of New Zealand’s finest exports. He remains one of the countries most televised acts and now has performed in some 15 countries around the world.
 Andre is an experienced, well rounded act, his veteran pedigree allows him the ability to read a
crowd and interact with them to create spontaneous laughter and then seamlessly segue way
into set material. He is a solid professional performer who has the ability to rescue a show that is
going badly or elevate a show beyond it’s expectations. 

Show-biz legend Sol Bernstein is back !! Sol Bernstein has performed 2 solo show's. "ALMOST ALIVE" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2003 winning a "Spirit of the Fringe award", and "ALMOST ALIVE 11" in 2004. He's performed all over the world at venues including The London Palladium, New York's Carnegie Hall, The Paris Olympia, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, and Scunthorpe Baths, but it's at night clubs where Sol really comes to life. His charisma, his style andhis catch phrase "why don't you put on a tie." 
Kevin moved from his native town of Bognor Regis with a burning ambition to become a successful stand up comic. Kevin quickly became a regular at many clubs. He also got through to The Laughing Horse new act of the Year Final 2002 and came second in the Krater New act of the Year 2002 at the Komedia in Brighton. In 2006 he did his first and very well received Edinburgh show Kevin Shepherd: Comics Die in Hot Cars.

Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest, Gerry’s performed across the UK and abroad at The Comedy Club, Jongleurs, The Comedy Store, CKP and many more top circuit venues, not to mention winning his honours along the way; The Comedy Store’s ‘King Gong’, Metrolife Comedy Newcomer, and The Comedy Café’s Best Newcomer Awards. Seen his face before? Gerry’s performed on FHM Comedy Heroes (Ch4 – 2010), acted on The Bill (ITV) and Angelo’s (Ch5).
Mike has been a full time performing stand up comedian for many years now is very much sought after all around the country as an act and MC. He has been to the Edinburgh Fringe numerous times playing to packed out rooms! Mike also performs family friendly sets and comedy for kid’s including his 2010 one hour comedy show called “Lesson in Chaos with Mike Belgrave”. `mike has also been known for making comedy music videos using live actors or stop motion Lego figures.

James is a much sought after comic in clubs all over the UK, opening & headlining most of his 250+ gigs over the last year, gracing the stages of Just The Tonic, Highlight, Up The Creek, Alexander's, The Kings Theatre, Comedy Cafe, Jongleurs, The Glee Club, The Comedy Club, Laughing Horse, Funhouse Comedy and Funnyside to name just a few! James' first solo hour show "One of Your 5-A-Day", is currently appearing at UK comedy festivals throughout 2012 and 2013.
Vikki Stone is a multi-talented comedian, actress, singer and musician and the winner of The 2011 Soho Theatre One Night Stand Up Award. Her unique musical comedy has made her one of the fastest rising stars on the UK circuit.This summer saw Vikki’s Edinburgh debut “Big Neon Letters” play to sell out audiences. Her TV appearances include  'Flash Prank' (MTV), “The Hour” (STV), and “Greatest Ever 3D Moments” (Channel 4). You may also recognise her from fronting major ad campaigns for Yakult, Fiat and Tena Lady!
